Postcards from Anaiwan Country

In this audio postcard from Anaiwan Country on the East Coast of Australia, cousins Gabi Briggs and Callum Clayton Dixon chat about their struggle to decolonise. Together, they're opening up transformative practises, like language revival, research and weaving and crafting new stories, and ways of belonging on the country that their old people have cared for over tens of thousands of years.

Callum Clayton Dixon is the author of Surviving New England: A History of Aboriginal Resistance and Resilience Through the First Forty Years of the Colonial Apocalypse.

Gabi Briggs is an artist, curator and weaver based on Anaiwan Country. Using a multitude of mediums, Gabi brings to the fore contemplations on sovereignty, self-care, decolonisation and the interconnectedness of these ideas.
